Forensic Interview Services:
We provide a safe and comforting environment for children to speak about their experiences. Our specially trained professionals conduct interviews to minimize trauma and ensure a legally sound process
How you can prepare your child:
- Explain the interview process using the guide provided. The Forensic Interview
- Familiarize them with the environment through pictures of our Forensic Interview Rooms.
Forensic Medical Exams:
Our experienced Nurse Practitioners, in consultation with Primary Children's Hospital Safe and Healthy Families, conduct medical exams for suspected victims of child abuse. The exam is similar to a normal check-up at a pediatrician's office, ensuring your child's comfort and dignity.
What you can prepare for your child:
- Reassure them that the exam is to ensure they are healthy and okay.
- Inform them that they can ask questions and have control over stopping the exam at any time.
- Show them the medical video to demystify the process and set expectations.
